Alves OUT 2-3 Weeks
Barcelona defender Dani Alves injured his hamstring during a 4-0 win on Sunday against Levante and will be out for 2-3 weeks. He was added to an injury list that already included Marc Barta, Marc Muniesa, David Villa, Issac Cuenca, Alexis Sanchez, and Eric Abidal.
Red Sox Listening to Offers for Lester
One of the Red Sox main needs this offseason is to bolster their starting rotation. That hasn't stopped them from listening to offers for pitcher Jon Lester. According to reports, Boston has being listening to offers for their left hander. Kansas City is rumored to be one of the teams interested in Lester in a deal that has been discussed for prospect Will Myers who is arguably the top prospect in baseball right now.
Duke Climbs to Number 2
After a very impressive win against a talented Louisville basketball team (5-1) the Duke Blue Devils (6-0) have climbed to number #2 in the AP rankings only behind Indiana University (6-0). Duke's next game will be a big test against #4 Ohio State (4-0) in the ACC/Big10 challenge on November 28th.
Andy Pettitte Close to Return
Andy Pettitte and the New York Yankees are closing in on a 1 Year - 11 million dollar contract for the left handed veteran pitcher to return to the Bronx. There is no timetable on when the contract will be finalized but Pettitte did mention to Yanks GM Brian Cashman that it would be soon.

Kendrick Lamar Is Source Magazine’s “Rookie Of The Year”
When deciding of a The Sources 3rd Annual "Rookie of the Year" it was a no brainer but to give the honor to Kendrick Lamar just coming off his debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city. This was by far the biggest album of the year, not to mention he won Lyricist of the year winning of Jay-z, Kanye West, J.cole, and Nas. Not a bad rookie year if I say so myself.

Royce White Ready To Leave NBA
The 16th pick in this year's draft is set to meet with Houston Rockets' GM to discuss his current situation with the team. White has been absent from the team in the past couple days expressing his dislike on how the organization has been inconsistent in helping him deal with his Anxiety Disorder which has prevented him from flying to games with the team. The Rockets have no desire to trade or release White but did say they plan on handing him a fine for every day he is away from the team. The rookie has said he would be ready to leave the NBA if that's what is best for him.
