Jayson Werth to the Nationals

Right fielder Jayson Werth has agreed to a $126 million, seven-year contract with the Washington Nationals.
The first deal of the winter meetings was announced Sunday while Major League Baseball was still setting up the news conference room, and it was a big one.
Werth, who hit .296 with 27 homers last season with the Philadelphia Phillies, would help the Nationals replace Adam Dunn's power. Dunn signed with the Chicago White Sox on Friday. Seems like he went straight for the money.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
