CR9 continues scoring

Cristiano Ronaldo's 32nd goal of the season led Real Madrid over Atletico Madrid 1-0 Thursday night and into the Copa del Rey semifinals for the first time since 2006.

Ronaldo powered Sergio Ramos' 23rd-minute cross past goalkeeper David De Gea at Vicente Calderon stadium, helping Real Madrid to a 4-1 victory in the total-goals series.

Real Madrid plays defending champion Sevilla in the semifinals starting next week, and Barcelona meets Almeria. Real Madrid has won the competition 17 times but not since 1993. Barcelona has won a record 25 times.

Real Madrid is 14-0-6 against Atletico since 1999.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho bobbed his head to the chants of "Mourinho Go and Die!" in the 78th minute from the crowd of nearly 45,000.
